Chops the Photographer

Ever since I purchased my first two camera bodies Chops has been absolutely mesmerised.

Every chance he can get he has been out shooting with me. So much so he inherited my old Canon and Sigma lenses when I upgraded.

Nature

Nature itself is at the very core of my relationship with Chops and from a bit of trial and error I feel it is a core value of mine, my job is to teach him the magic in the world around us. From Kingfishers to the Milky way. Chops really is getting out there and seeing it all!

At 6 years old he has already managed to Image Long Eared Owls, Short Eared owls, Kingfishers and Kites! He has a great love for Woodpeckers and little birds with his favourites being Long Eared Owls or Woodpeckers depending on his mood for the day

Disaster

Unfortunately I took his Camera out on new years day and dropped it. It is damaged beyond repair and although insurance will cover most of the replacement we need to do a little fund raising to get him a well deserved upgrade!

He has always wanted a Nikon like mine and he needs a lighter setup so we are aiming to get him a Nikon Z6III and 180-600 and we are going to sell prints to close the gap that the insurance won’t cover! With Skomer planned for him in May it is a race against the clock to get him a new camera.

The Ask

In order to cover the shortfall from the insurance, we would love it if you would consider buying a print! It would help close that gap and get Chops in the Saddle sooner! I appreciate times are tough!

Each print is well made and posted to you. Your support would mean the world and help get Kiddo back in the saddle and creating images again. Below are two examples of Chops’ work. We have two of his images up for sale too!

Showing chops the world through photography is honestly the most rewarding thing I could ever have asked for and I couldn’t be prouder of what he manages to get. Every single print sold will go towards his new setup and once acquired we will be then getting him ready for Skomer and a Kingfisher project I have in the works!
